Have you ever tried getting timber of a specific size from a timber yard or DIY store. For instance, planed timber usually comes in ex-imperial sizes (e.g. planed 6''X1'', usually measures 5¾''X¾'').

MATTABOUTWOOD offer a machining service of timber up to 180mm in width, to any size of timber down to 3mm in thickness. We can machine your timber to any size you wish, or we can supply the timber for you. Although we do not keep a lot of stock, most timbers, native or exotic, can be obtained for you, sawn, planed, cut into bowl blanks...
